Was Mariah Carey Thinking About
Weight
Loss When She Said I Do To Nick Cannon?
by Marie Leonard
Being a celebrity, expect to be
in the news. Weight loss programs use them as advertisement
and magazines divulge their closest relationship secrets
such as who they broke up with and who they're going to
marry.
An unusual approach, however, is when two celebrities decide
to re-marry every year. This peaks interest in celebrity
watchers who then want to find out what and who and where.
When Mariah Carey married Nick Cannon, this is exactly what
they promised they would do every year, renew their wedding
vows.
Their first marriage celebration was held on April 30, 2008,
but on May 6, 2009, they re-enacted their promise to each
other away from the prying eyes of paparazzi and public
oglers. Their ceremony was held on the shores of the Indian
Ocean at the One & Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives.
Even if they were very private, it did not stop them from
inviting their really close friends such as Beyonce and
Jay-Z and family in order to celebrate with them.
As a second time around bride, Mariah may not have been
expecting to get another ring. But Nick surprised her with three
new rings of his own design. They were a pink diamond band
and two white diamond sparklers that matched her 10 carat
diamond engagement ring from NYC jeweler Jacob & co.
Evenings such as these are often compared to fairytale
endings. As family and friends enjoyed sitting around a
satin swathed table and the sound of ocean waves, Mariah and
Nick shared a small sweetheart table nearby. Everyone dined
on local specialties of fresh, caught that day, surf and
turf.
The bridal bouquet made of stephanotis which last a long
time and are known for their wonderful sweet scent decorated
Mariah's hands and then the table for hours to come.
As magic would have it, eating wedding cake infused with
Grand Marnier and coffee essence, just added to the already
magical atmosphere of the evening.
Mariah and Nick certainly enjoyed a magical evening
together. What made it even more special was when Nick
answered a question about what he remembered most about the
evening and he replied: "I just remember being right by the
ocean, with waves crashing all around us. It was simply
amazing to share that moment with the woman I love."
These two certainly enjoy great health, money and the best
life has to offer.
Many new brides to be, though, are looking to feel and look
great, just like Mariah. And weight loss is often the issue
of the day before walking down that aisle.
Although money is not an issue for Mariah and Nick to have
the best, upcoming brides to be can also have the best when
it comes to fast and safe weight loss. That perfect wedding
day can be reality.
