Lose Weight For Wedding Day Perfection
by Suzanne Dansereau
What bride doesn't want to look ideal on her wedding day?
For many, that might mean they need to lose weight for
wedding day perfection. Fortunately, you can do this
without too much trouble, as long as you give yourself time
and only need to slim down a bit for your big day.
Plenty of fad diets offer to make a girl slimmer rapidly,
but the best way to go is through the tried and true methods
of dropping calorie intake and burning more calories. With
this combination, it's virtually impossible not to lose
weight. However, for the anxious bride, it might seem like
it takes too long, so here are some tips to speed up that
slimness.
Drink plenty of water. This will help keep the body hydrated
and will also serve another purpose. Water makes one feel
full even between meals, so it can actually help prevent
snacking.
Diet sodas and such can be a real boon to the busy bride.
It's not great for you, but when you need caffeine and the
choice is between a 2 liter bottle of cola with tons of
sugar or one that is diet, you should go for diet. It's
pretty common to want sweets when you're stressed, so
replace them with diet.
Keep a journal. Writing down everything that is going into
her mouth is a good way for the bride to make sure she stays
accountable. This will help her stay on track and realize
when she's made a mistake. It's a great habit to get into
anyway and can work for the long term.
Prepare some snacks ahead of time and you'll never have to
reach for potato chips or cookies because they are more
convenient. Have tuna salad, boiled eggs and carrot sticks
on hand in the fridge and you can snack on healthy stuff any
time you get hungry. This is a terrific method of learning
to eat healthier and as a busy bride to be, you won't need
to stress even more over meals.
Make sure you get lots of exercise. It can help to work out
with someone else. They will be your accountability partner
at the gym.
It really is possible to lose weight for wedding days
that are just a few weeks away. It's important to stay
healthy though, since a starving bride won't be able to
really enjoy her big day. Healthy eating and exercise will
do the trick.
