Which Is The Best Bridal Diet For New Brides To Be?
by Suzanne Dansereau
A woman's wedding day is the day she's been dreaming of for
years. She's met the man of her dreams and she wants nothing
more than to be that radiant bride to be walking down the
aisle. Many women prepare for their wedding day by going on
a bridal diet and losing some weight to look perfect
in their gown.
Weight loss is a touchy subject for some women. It's not
always easy to lose unwanted weight and there are many times
women will fall prey to fad and crash diets. Losing
weight is something that needs to be planned out and it's
important to set goals that are attainable.
The healthiest way for someone to lose weight is by
following a good nutrition plan and exercising. Increasing
your activity level and decreasing the amount you eat each
day will result in weight loss. It's not healthy to lose
more than three pounds per week, and realistically that
won't stay off. You have a greater chance of gaining that
weight back.
In order to provide your body the nutrients it needs to
maintain good health, you should eat from each food group.
They are grains, dairy, protein, fruits, vegetables, and
healthy fats. If you starve yourself, your metabolism slows
down and can actually result in weight gain.
How you time your meals will make a big difference in the
amount of weight you lose as well. It's important to plan on
having three meals a day with a healthy snack in between.
Cutting five hundred calories out of your normal caloric
intake each day will result with weight loss when coupled
with exercise three to five times a week.
There are popular fad diets and crash diets that may be too
tempting to resist for some women. The promise of rapid
weight loss in a short amount of time is very hard to
resist. Crash diets that restrict caloric intake or limit
you to one type of food group are dangerous and can harm you
in the long run.
When deciding what bridal diet route you should take,
stick with the one that is going to leave you healthier and
happier. Harming your body to lose weight is not a wise
idea. You are also more likely to binge eat and gain weight
back after a crash diet. Adopt healthy habits and you are
sure to shine on your wedding day.
