If you’re like most new brides, then
you’ve been dreaming about the perfect day, and the perfect
wedding, with the man of your dreams, for your entire life.
Nothing could be more important than sharing your special
day with the ones you love the most, and looking and
feeling your beautiful bridal best with the most beautiful
bridal body possible.
Your dress will act as the centerpiece for
the day, and will provide the focal point for every photo
you share with your wedding party and loved ones. That’s why
a perfect fit is essential – not only for comfort and
movement, but also for capturing the glamour and bridal
beauty that is you.
So how does a perfect fit magically arrive? It’s easy. Just
follow these simple steps as you near the big day. You will
see that magic has nothing to do with it – but rather a
sensible plan and a simple guide will set you on the right
path to a beautiful bridal body.
-
Start looking for that
perfect dress
-
Clip out magazine
pictures of the dresses you love
-
Visit reputable wedding
gown shops and try on, try on, try on. You never know
what a dress really looks like until it is off the
hanger and hanging on you
-
Make sure the dress is
comfortable – not too tight, not too hot, not too heavy.
Remember you will be in your dress all day
-
Choose the size that fits
you right now. A qualified seamstress will be able to
adjust your fit exactly to your body when your wedding
day arrives. It’s always easier to take in the dress
than to let it out
-
Start or continue an
exercise program. Resistance training will help with
definition in your arms, shoulders, and back
-
Get serious about your
diet. Make healthy choices and reduce fast foods and
processed foods
-
Start cleansing. Detoxify
your body and release impurities along with any unwanted
pounds. The program I use has allowed me to release 20
inches of fat
-
If you have more than 30
lbs to lose, you will need to start sooner than later to
achieve that beautiful bridal body you always dreamed
of, and it is possible
3 to 4 Months Prior:
-
-
Try on the dress for fit. If you are losing inches or
weight, the dress will feel roomy
-
Ask your seamstress to pin the dress in places where
the fit is too loose
-
Continue with your exercise and nutritional cleansing
program
1 Month Prior:
·
-
Time to get serious. If you still have weight you
would like to lose then bump up the exercise
-
Consider doing a 9 day intensive program to whittle
your waist for the final fitting
-
Try on the dress and adjust the pins as necessary so
that the fit is formed to your new shape
1-2 Weeks Prior:
·
-
You’re here! Time to get those alterations completed.
Make sure you check with your seamstress on timing of
the dress. It is best to have your dress ready no less
than 4 days prior to your wedding, to help reduce stress
and worry
-
If you’re worried about putting on a few pounds until
D-day, stay on your current wedding weight loss program

Enjoy! You’ve put a lot of hard work into your
planning, preparations, and getting that beautiful
bridal body. Feel relieved, feel proud and especially
feel ecstatic. Time to celebrate!
